Syprosoft has extensive experience with mechanical design and parts fabrication. We have used SolidWorks to perform Finite Element Analysis on load bearing structures. FEA parameters such as stress, strain and displacement have been used to optimize designs and strength to weight ratios. We have used dynamic analysis and empirical data to characterize resonance frequencies and reduce vibrations. We have experience with electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic valve design and testing. We have worked with electro hydrostatic actuators and electro-mechanical actuation. We have experience with CNC machining, 3D Printing, temporary tooling, and mass production tooling. Descriptions of some sample projects follow.
3D Modeling and AnalysisAnalyzed the resonance frequencies of a robot arm and designed a new linkage and damper to cut unwanted vibrations.
Finite Element AnalysisDesigned a motorized cantilevered system using FEA for optimal stress, strain and displacement parameters.
Spinal Brace ControlDesigned and fabricated a push button control for tightening and loosening a spinal brace using SLA rapid prototypes.
High Precision DesignPerformed tolerance analysis and designed high precision parts for CNC machining operations.
CartridgesDesigned and fabricated a dental impression material cartridge using urethane molded temporary tooling.
