Syprosoft has deep experience with cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary products. Diagnostic devices include non-invasive measurement of blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiration rate and lung function. Also have experience with invasive measurement of cardiac output. Imaging devices include digital subtraction angiography, ultrasound/Doppler imaging, cardiac SPECT, and intra-vascular optical coherence tomography (OCT). Therapeutic devices include defibrillators, laser-based stroke treatment, angina and congestive heart failure therapy. We have interfaced these types of devices to electronic health records (EHR) systems used in hospitals. Descriptions of some sample projects follow.
Stroke TherapyDeveloped the graphical user interface and embedded control software for a system to treat ischemic stroke using low-level infra-red laser therapy.
Atrial Fibrillation TherapyDeveloped a simulation model and algorithms to characterize the returned black-body radiation to determine completion of AFIB therapy.
Angina/CHF TherapyUpgraded device for angina and CHF therapy using external counter pulsation after closure of the aortic value marked by the dicrotic notch.
Digital Subtraction AngiographyCreated advanced manufacturing and quality assurance processes for a low-dose high-resolution DSA system.
Reflectance Pulse OximetryDeveloped software and design control documentation for a flat-sensor pulse oximeter suitable for neo-natal care.
Vital Signs MonitorDeveloped verification and validation plan, test protocols and reports for a bed-sheet sensor based vital signs monitoring system.
